Our Paint and Sip Booking Conditions

Before confirming your Adelaide paint and sip booking, please take a moment to review our conditions. These guidelines help us create smooth, enjoyable experiences for all guests at our sip and paint events, private paint and wine parties, and corporate paint and sip sessions.

Our booking conditions outline important details on payments, cancellations, minimum group sizes, and rescheduling, so you know exactly what to expect. Whether you’re planning a team building paint and sip, a hens night, or a fun painting event with friends, these terms ensure your session runs seamlessly.

At Cork n Canvas, we want every group painting event to be stress-free, memorable, and enjoyable — and our booking conditions help us make that possible.

Cork n Canvas Paint and Sip (referred to in the following text as “we,” “us,” and “our”) is committed to ensuring a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all participants, staff, and visitors. Our policies comply with applicable laws and are designed to manage and minimize risks while fostering a shared responsibility for compliance.

By registering for and attending any event at Cork n Canvas, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Conditions of Entry, our Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy.

*We have a minimum number of 10 participants per session.

Behaviour

We expect all participants to maintain a respectful and positive atmosphere, including:

Being polite and courteous to others.

Using inclusive and respectful language.

Respecting the privacy and personal space of others.

Respecting Cork n Canvas property.

Listening to instructions from Cork n Canvas staff to ensure everyone enjoys the experience.

Arriving 15 minutes before the session starts to get settled.

Prohibited Behaviour:

Guests who engage in rude, offensive, or inappropriate conduct (e.g., obscene
language, threatening behaviour, or inappropriate physical gestures) may be
refused entry or asked to leave at the sole discretion of Cork n Canvas staff.

Photography

By Cork n Canvas Staff:

Staff may take photos or record portions of classes for social media, promotional
purposes, or internal training. Guests will be notified if recording is taking place and may opt out. If a guest later wishes to withdraw consent, they can request the removal of photos/videos by emailing hello@corkncanvas.com.au with the subject line: Urgent Photo Removal Request.

By Guests:

Guests may take photos or videos during sessions, provided they:

Only feature themselves or their group.

Do not disrupt the class.

Obtain consent from staff or other participants before including them in photos/videos.

Inappropriate or unauthorized photography will result in removal from the class.

Environment

Equipment Cleanliness:

The venue and equipment are cleaned and sanitized between classes. If something requires
attention, please inform our staff.

Although we take great care to ensure paint is not spilt on floor coverings, furniture or any other fixtures or fittings, Cork n Canvas are not responsible for any paint spillage that may occur.

Appropriate Attire:

Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on. While aprons are provided, Cork n Canvas is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items.

Catering and Allergies

Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks or enjoy one of our grazing
boards (not included in per head price). Please notify us of any dietary restrictions during the booking process. While we will take steps to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot
guarantee allergen-free food. Guests consume food at their own risk, and Cork n
Canvas is not liable for allergic reactions or related health issues.

Alcohol

Depending on the venue policy, alcohol may be purchase at the venue or BYO may apply (please check with us).

Guests displaying signs of intoxication may be refused entry or asked to leave without a refund.

Cork n Canvas enforces Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols and complies with all legal requirements.

Private Events & Third-Party Entertainment

Cork n Canvas offers private event packages for birthdays, team-building, and other occasions.

For some events, third-party entertainers may be present (e.g., drag performers or topless waiters).

Entertainers are required to adhere to strict guidelines prohibiting full nudity or solicitation of services.

Guests or entertainers violating these guidelines may be removed, and local authorities may be contacted if necessary.

Safety and Emergencies

For the safety of all, the Cork n Canvas may use video surveillance.

In the event of an emergency, please follow all staff instructions.

Our Rights

Cork n Canvas reserves the right to:

Refuse entry to any guest at it's discretion.

Remove guests from the session premises without refund if they breach these Conditions of Entry.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our efforts to provide a fun, respectful, and
creative environment at Cork n Canvas.

Cork n Canvas Cancellation Policy (051224)

• No shows are charged full ticket price and are not eligible for a refund or to reschedule their booking -a new booking will have to be made.

Notice of Cancellation

• Notice of cancellation (an individual or group attending a public session) must be received at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the booked session.
• All cancellations or rescheduled ticket requests received 48 hours prior to a session will incur an administration fee of $25.00 per attendee.
• Cancellations or reschedules made at least 48 hours prior to the session are entitled to reschedule their booking to a future date, receive a ticket refund or be issued with a credit voucher (to be used within 30 days of cancelled session).
• All cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to a booked session will forfeit the total booking cost.
• All cancellations or reschedules must be received by email.
• Any additional charges for grazing boards etc will be forfeited upon all cancellations or rescheduled bookings.
• Any ‘private function’ bookings that are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the booked session will forfeit the total deposit. We are able to reschedule private function bookings with at least 2 weeks’ notice.
